out with the old, in with the new
the end of december wasn't exactly the best time ever.friday, the day before christmas eve, i made the unfortunate decision to eat at in-n-out in huntington beach. an hour later, my stomach wasn't feeling too swift. two hours later, i was doubled over in pain. three hours later, i was in the bathroom, and remained there until 4 am. food poisoning is an absolute killer. your insides feel like they're being ripped from out of you from both sides and there's nothing to do. it's horrific. my friend picked me up at 4:30 pm to take me to the LB airport on the 24th for my flight at 7:30 pm. i don't think i've hoped and prayed in such a short time span. all i thought was, "please, please, please, do not make me have to use the toilet on the plane. everyone will hate me." He answered my prayers because i didn't have to use the restroom until i got to my parent's house in utah and then once again, all hell broke loose. my stomach problems lasted until monday. tuesday was a good day. then wednesday, i woke up coughing. we flew back and then it hit me, the flu. i was in bed wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday, and sunday. that was my new year's celebration. fun!
i can't really say as i made any new year's resolutions. i never seem to keep them. i feel like christmas and new year's came and went. maybe it's because i was sick but it also just kind of happened without any real shabang to it. i dunno. probably just me.

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....poor dana!!!! that's the same thing that happened to michael! he had the stomach flu too! i'm glad you seem to be feeling better though. take care and hope this new year is a HAPPY, JOYFUL, PEACEFUL, and SUCCESSFUL one for you! God bless!

Aww that sucks! Remember last year when we went to Tommy's in Barstow on the way home from Vegas? Yeah I got sick too...puking the next day from food poison. I wasn't sure if it was the chili cheeseburger, chil cheese hot dog, or cheese fries I ate. Well, get better soon!
i shall leave the comments about which end it came out strictly to the email. anyway, glad you're feeling better day, would be a shame to be sick on ur bday. i'm feeling u about the holidays coming and going this year. no real umph. maybe next year?
