wish the weekend had been longer!
5 days off just doesn't seem sufficient enough. :) saturday, i spent time with lisa. we watched "the devil wears prada" and we thought it was pretty cute. meryl streep is absolutely positively the best actress ever. anne hathaway was pretty good, too! i looooooooved her outfits in the movie and hey, if i had money burning holes through my pockets (or i had access to a fashion magazine's crazy wardrobe closet), i'd look like that too. andrew, a good friend from h.s., came over later in the evening. lisa, her husband, andrew, and myself played texas hold 'em for a $25 pot. i know, i know... ballers. andrew won although it was because we showed mercy toward him and kept him in the game when he was down to one $5 chip and when it came time for him to show mercy, he was merciless... ruthless.sunday was spent lounging around and doing a lot of nothing, although, i should have been reading for business law. instead, i have to cram 3 chapters in during lunch and before class tonight. in the evening, i went to dinner at muldoon's in newport and to see da vinci code with george. let me tell you, that movie disappointed me to no end. i didn't even have high expectations going into the movie but i thought at least with ron howard and tom hanks, it'd be decent... not. at least dinner was yummy, oh yea, and the company, too.
monday... my work's bbq. george backed out of going so don't worry kay, the coworkers didn't meet him before the friends. i was out in the sun for a good 5 hours and my legs are still blindingly white. great. tuesday... yea, i really didn't do a lot during the day time this whole weekend. my excuse is that it was too hot. anyway, i made cookies and went to a bbq at george's. met two of his friends. it was pretty fun even though i felt like i was under the microscope. the fireworks show in woodbridge is good! we just sat in chairs on his street b/c the fireworks show is directly above his house. pretty sweet. and, that was my weekend.
