is there a point?
i don't even know why i have a blog. i rarely post. hmm...i was talking with my friend from school, last night. we both agreed, we are simply not expecting anything these days. meaning, when we meet someone new, we don't expect anything will actually happen. when we enroll in our new classes for next quarter, we don't expect them to be good or interesting. i think it's good not to expect anything but on top of that, we're just not excited about anything, either! how sad is that??
things at work have calmed down, and while we've all weathered the storm, we are all much more aware of the true nature of our ceo. all i can think of is getting out of here. i have been applying to jobs left and right, in la, in the bay area, in vegas, in oc, in sd... is it true that for every 60 resumes you send out you get one call back??? where's my call back?!?!?! it sucks because i want to stay in non-profit but with the way the economy is, giving is down so npo management jobs are scarce. :( puh-leeeeeeeeeeeeeeze pray that i find a great job. actually, please pray for all of us who need/want a new job.
regardless, i've been a much happier person lately. just going with the flow.... i'm really looking forward to graduating and to finding a new job!!!
