today
i worked until 9 pm last night... in corona! at least i played golf for 2 hours during the afternoon. :)yesterday, i played golf with my coworker/friend. except for 2 holes where i made MAJOR mistakes, it was decent. On hole 4, I didn't expect to hit my 7 iron so beautifully (and yes, it was quite beautiful) and as a consequence hit it WAY past the green where my chipping sucked so i got a stupid 8 on a par 4. On hole 8, i hit it into a sand trap and it took me THREE tries to get out of it and got a stupid 10 on a par 4. the highlights included getting par on a par 3 with the best hit of my life off a 5 iron and getting a bogey on a par 5 that i usually get quadruple-duple-duple (not a word but you get the point) bogey on.
anyway, while we were playing, i told him about that guy from the party saturday. he said it could be a couple of things and just to make sure this guy isn't interested, i should call him again. that way i'll know if he doesn't call back then it really isn't anything. i have a terribly strong compulsion to get to know him and it's irritating. i ended up calling last night after i got off work and left a message. ce la vie (sp?).
