weekend

went to san jose to visit my college roommate from my senior year. very cool trip. slightly jealous because i saw her townhouse (technically, it was the model home since hers is still being built). she and her boyfriend bought it. she deserves it though. it's a very very nice split 3 level house, 3 bd, 2.5 ba. i want one! did a lot of shopping and relaxing. awesome weekend.

a friend and i were having a conversation about what you do when you feel left out. if you feel you are good friends with someone but that person failed to invite you to something, should you feel left out? i'm not talking about an evite to happy hour or an evite to a ginormous (pronounced with a soft "g") party... i'm talking about something big. if you're good enough friends, shouldn't you be able to ask? but then wouldn't you feel stupid and awkward? i mean, that person obviously didn't invite you for a reason, right? if that's the case, you're not as good friends as you would have thought. either way... eh?

i concur... if you're good enough friends, then you should be able to bring up the conversation. if not, then i guess you're not good enough friends... it still doesn't diminish the feeling of being left out tho. i know the feeling.
