funny friends
i have a cold or a flu or something. it hit me friday night but it wasn't too terrible. i went out saturday night to geisha house for a friend's birthday and then back down to irvine to go to tentation for another friend's birthday. i stayed out too late, drank a little too much, and was a little bit naughty. i think maybe that's why i got even more sick than i was. so i woke up feeling crappy on sunday.i called jay to see if there was a way i could not go to the softball game, and he said, "dude, if i hadn't looked at my phone, i wouldn't have known it was you." he was laughing while he said this because apparently my voice sounded different, so different, in fact, that had to pass the phone to cicely so she could hear. at first she said it sounded like me but then she too started laughing and said i sounded funny. then she asked me to tell her my life story... just so she could hear my funny sounding voice. funny, friends. funny.
needless to say, i didn't make it to the softball game or bible study, and i didn't study.
