on The View, for which Rosie O'Donnell is a co-anchor, rosie commented about when Danny Devito was on the show drunk, saying:"The fact is that it's news all over the world. That you know, you can imagine in China it's like: 'Ching chong. Danny DeVito, ching chong, chong, chong, chong. Drunk. The View. Ching chong.' "
rosie's response?
"It was not my intent to mock." She called the bit "comedy" and wrote, "I do many accents and probably will continue to.
um... that wasn't an accent. that was straight up mockery. she probably was joking but seriously... how many times have i heard that "ching chong" crap growing up and it was never a joke so much as meant to taunt and mock?
only a while before she had the nerve to chide Kelly Ripa saying that Ripa made a homophobic remark when Clay Aiken put his hands over Ripa's so he could interject a question and Ripa said, "Oh, that's a no-no," Ripa said, adding, "I don't know where that hand's been, honey!"
that's just lame.
