no car
not having a car royally sucks. you realize how dependent you are on friends, family, or public transportation. friday morning my brother and i took my car in to get it repaired from when the old lady with two walking canes hurt my car. the car place said it would be ready monday. so over the weekend, i had no car. friday i stayed home and did nothing. saturday i went to a funeral but bummed a ride from kay, who went WAY out of her way to get me. i was so appreciative of that. the rest of saturday i didn't do much. i ate a lot though. then chad's friend dan took me to the gym on his way back to SD and then chad picked me up later. sunday i stayed home all day. i felt bad about asking chad to drive me to SD for rachel's wedding shower. his car is having problems. then this morning, fran took me to work and is going to take me to get my car this afternoon. it sure as heck better be ready. for what was wrong with it, it shouldn't take that long to fix.Last week, "Police asked for the public's help Sunday in solving a freeway shooting that claimed a Fontana man's life over the weekend. Police thought it was a simple car accident until Western Medical Center staff in Santa Ana found a bullet in Tuason's head." As it would turn out, the victim was GB's brother. I know that being at the funeral for GB was the most I could do for him but I felt like I didn't do enough. How do you comfort someone who lost a brother?
