stunned
this morning, i found out that mike sharp, a former co-worker, was murdered. i was stunned... am still stunned and quite speechless.what is wrong with people? mike was working at chevrolet cerritos when a man wanted to test drive a car. mike could not let him because there wasn't any proper identification. the man pulled out a butcher knife and stabbed him to death. what compels people to act so atrociously? is there inherent evil in them? it is such a senseless act. horrific for his family. i dealt with one of the worst phone calls of my life when i spoke with his father this morning. friends are devestated, his father is devastated, his wife is devastated, and worst of all, there is a new baby on the way. a baby girl, who will be named Alexis, who will never know her father because of some crazed lunatic. we are starting a college fund for his daughter but it's not enough, nothing is, and nothing ever will be.

oh my god! between that and hearing that 3 year old babies were being raped in the superdome... i'm kinda with you... is there some inherent sense of evil in some people? what is wrong with humanity?!
