this weekend was spent doing a lot of nothing. i thought i'd be working at GAP already but apparently i have to go through some more training. i guess i'll wait 'til they call and schedule me or maybe i'll pester them this week if they haven't called. well, i did read The Last Juror by John Grisham. it was decent.
i thought about a lot of "stuff" this weekend. one thing being that i think i can be a difficult friend. i never would have thought that before but i think i might be. i know that you should never place expectations on friendships but somehow i have come to do that. i'm not even sure i can explain these expectations but i think they're there. what to do about them is a different story.
ok, kelly clarkson isn't as bad as i thought. i didn't like her at first for some reason. it was probably because she was on american idol, won, is doing well with her career, and i'm a bit jealous. but listening to her songs on KIIS made me realize she wasn't that bad. then lisa bought her cd, i listened to it, and then bought it myself. there is one song on her album that really hits eerily home with me, maybe a little too close to home. regardless, i looked at who wrote the lyrics on that song and she did. as it would turn out, i gave her far less credit than she deserves. i admit, i was completely wrong; she is a very talented individual.
it's a monday morning and it's not so bad. i woke up easily. Oh, and i am not too tired, thanks to some good ol' vanilla nut coffee.
