oops
well, we've been caught, sort of. the filter for the cable was put back on. we don't have as many channels as before... no more TNT (law & order reruns), MTV, ESPN, Animal Planet... what a bummer. do we really want to pay $30 more per month considering our electric bill is averaging $90 a month now? what to do...at least the shows i do watch are still available... SVU & ER on channel 4, Grey's Anatomy on channel 7, and SVU reruns on USA. Speaking of Grey's Anatomy, it's a new show and I'm liking it very much. Thanks a lot JOE! I read Joe's blog and he said it was great. I didn't even mean to check it out but I happened to flip to it when it started this past Sunday.yesterday at GAP was surprisingly boring and went by slowly. i think it's because the manager stuck me on the kid's side where there is no action. we don't have a general manager right now so we get floating ones that come in from other stores. the one last night was seriously flamin. he was hella funny and way upbeat, like he downed 6 shots of espresso or something.
i read cicely's blog and was a bit envious of her new job atmosphere. now that it's been a while, i am officially envious. dude, we have NO music here, there aren't any people here that dress casual, and nobody has any crazy piercings (they're not allowed). the girl that does have a nose piercing has to have a super duper discreet stud in her nose because it's really frowned upon here. we're so boring compared to cicely's workplace!!
something random... i am applying to U of Maryland's business school. they're ranked 27 in the nation. i think it'll be a lot harder to get into than at uci but we'll see what happens. i meet all their minimum requirements. maybe they'll like me because i'll be paying out of state tuition. wakka wakka. i figure, why not, it's only $50 to apply.
