i got a phone interview with teach for america! yay! it's just an interview but gosh darnit, it took a lot to get that! thank God for networking. :)

oh just be grateful

thinking about my stupid job search makes me sad. tons of resumes sent out yielding nothing. i was IMing with jay about it and i think he's right. the job search is getting me down and it's permeating into other areas of my life. boo on that. so i decided i have to suck it up and be grateful for what i have... a family that loves me, an awesome boyfriend, awesome friends, overall good health, and a good (current) job.

redo

**removed previous complaints b/c i just need to get over it**

just got back from a weekend in MD and DC. it was fun to be in DC but my knee was giving me mega problems. not good when all you do in DC is walk around to different monuments and museums. we went into the smithsonian (i think) and there was a korean gallery that linden forced me to go to. it sucked! i mean, seriously sucked. it was one little room that didn't really even have anything great in it! what's up with that?! i got to see the white house though. the last time i was in dc there was a lot of construction so we couldn't see the white house up close. we did a lot of shopping and A LOT of eating. you know, flying back and forth is more tiring than people think. i took airborne on the way there and on the way back. good thing because boy were there a lot of people coughing and hacking up their lungs on the plane!

linden starts his new job in cleveland, today. he's awesome. :) the only sucky thing is that i have to wait 2.5 weeks to see him.
