i don't think people took the time to send happy thoughts to the Ducks last night. they got out-played in the third. i was rather disappointed, once again, with some of the penalties against the ducks last night. regardless, i am pulling for them thursday night.

Jack wakes up at home with a huge hangover he can’t believe. He forces himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins next to a glass of water on the side table. And, next to them, a single red rose!
Jack sits down and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed.
Jack looks around the room and sees that it is in perfect order – spotlessly clean. So is the rest of the house. He takes the aspirins, cringes when he sees a huge black eye staring back at him in the bathroom mirror, and notices a note on the table: “Honey, breakfast is on the stove. I left early to go shopping – love you!”
He stumbles to the kitchen and sure enough, there is hot breakfast and the morning newspaper. His son is also at the table, eating. Jack asks, “Son… what happened last night?”
“Well, you came home after 3 a.m., drunk and out of your mind. You broke some furniture, puked in the hallway, and got that black eye when you ran into the door.”
“So, why is everything in such perfect order, so clean, I have a rose, and breakfast is on the table waiting for me?”
His son replies, “Oh, THAT! Mom dragged you to the bedroom, and when she tried to take your pants off, you screamed, ‘Leave me alone, lady, I’m married!’”

i have not had a lot of free time as of late but i will take time to blog about two very important things. 1. ducks won last night 4-3!!! the first period was especially cool but i must say i was and still am disappointed with the calls that were made against the ducks. they were stupid and uncalled for. there was one particular call for tripping against fedoruk that i thought was ridiculous. the guy fell all on his own and it was completely obvious in the replay. OH! and did the stupid refs call interference against calgary at the same time? NO! loser refs. i'm glad they're back to the pond tomorrow. go ducks!2. the one person i thought i could count on to avoid uggs like the plague has fallen!!! FALLEN, i say!!!!

mariners are off to a good start. i haven't really been watching because the ducks are doing so well but... the mariners won the series against LAA...A...A...A...A? pretty sweet. :)
recall
my friend, robert mccurry, is being recalled to the army. i can't believe it. please pray for his safety. he leaves on april 30th.on a happier note, the DUCKS creamed the kings last night. it was such a great game. the last period was definitely cool. ducks were up 4-2 with 1 minute remaining and the kings pulled Garon. pahlsson scored on an empty net and the kings put garon back in the net. then with .9 seconds remaining in the game, perry gets a breakaway and scores the final goal to win 6-2. CRAZY!!
